For the people of Blackwell Sanders, giving means caring about our communities and about the needs of others. Throughout 2005, our firm contributed to organizations and groups based mostly upon the interests of our partners, associates and staff, who invest volunteer hours and serve on boards and committees for numerous charities, foundations and charitable events. This year our charitable support went to more than 150 organizations and foundations located in our communities.

Our firm has made multi-year financial commitments to Legal Aid of Western Missouri, Legal Services for Eastern District of Missouri, Legal Services of Southern Missouri and Legal Services of Nebraska. We set records with our individual and firm commitments to the United Way in Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri, and in Omaha, Nebraska. We continued our strong support to the arts and culture in our communities by giving to organizations such as the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The St. Louis Art Museum, Kansas City Public Library, Omaha Opera, and children's programming for KCPT Public Television.

Community support requires important charitable decisions. That is why our firm has unwavering support to make times a little easier and more enjoyable for those faced with life challenges.
